- Bones are at more risk of fractures, eg from small falls or activities that would not normally cause a fracture

What is it?
Osteoporosis is a condition where our bones weaken, due to changes in hormone production and release as we age.
This results in a change in bone resorption, leading to more bone being broken down than your body can keep up with creating new bone formation. This effectively results in a reduction of bone density. to prevent falls, fractures, and empower you to continue living your best life!

Osteoporosis can be managed and treated in a variety of ways, between both your GP and our therapists at Mens Health Matters.
Your GP may recommend medication, supplements and diet, and our therapists will create you a program with resistance and loading exercises.
Setting in place the right plan will help you to manage and control your osteoporosis to prevent falls, fractures, and empower you to continue living your best life!
